At Hagler Orthodontics, our treatment process is tactical and strategically planned. In an ideal situation, we’d like to see patients as early as age 7. By starting treatment early, we are able to recognize potential problems and correct them before they become more serious. Starting treatment early may also shorten the length of time you will need to be in braces.

From Age Seven to Perfection!
At Hagler Orthodontics, we will be your orthodontist from the initial screening at age 7, all the way until you’re just wearing retainers at night! There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing our patients with a perfect smile.

Treatment as Early as Possible
According to the American Association of Orthodontics, the first orthodontic screening should be as early as age seven. At Hagler Orthodontics, we concur and recommend that you bring your child in so we can diagnose any orthodontic issues before they become more serious!
Adolescent Treatment
If necessary, treatment should begin between ages 11 and 13. Luckily, orthodontic treatment has modernized in the last two decades. Braces still come in the standard metal that most people think of when braces are mentioned, but they are now available in a clear option. There is even an option for clear aligners for teens, which serve the same purpose as regular braces!
Adult Treatment
Do you think you are too old for orthodontic treatment? Think again. Technology is available today that is attractive to adults that simply did not exist when you were young. These include clear braces and Invisalign aligners. Common orthodontic problems in adults are crowding, space between teeth, overbite, or drifting of teeth after an extraction.
